In the wake of the rising food and fuel prices, you would think so many developing nations are taking trouble to find ways on how to stop massive starvation of their populations. You definitely would not think that a story like “Ministry assures Ugandans on condom supply” would make headlines. In this same country, we are having several people on the brink of starvation and nothing like a solution on how to stop it in sight.

This reminds of how insensitive we can get sometimes. Insensitive to the suffering of fellow neighbours, injustice and instead decide to look the other way, pretend it does not exist. “It’s not myself or my family affected” we often times think so.
