Update 2: Student Killed By Stray Bullet, 4 Radio Stations Closed Down By Government
Update on situation in Kampala

* 10 feared dead in city riots including a 14-year old senior Secondary student of Lubiri secondary school who was struck dead by stray bullet.
* Thre (3) more radio stations closed down by the government: catholic radio station, Sapientia, Suubi FM and radio one luganda station, akabozi ku bbiri.
* Internet Service providers threatening to cut off Internet connection to trouble spots or companies accused of fueling violence.
* Bus has been burnt down in kampala suburb: nalukolongo
* Violence has spread to other parts of the country: masaka, lukaya
* Police post burnt in Lukaya, Kampala - masaka road
* Situation remains tense, everybody staying at home at the moment.
* Many of the shops within the city centre have remained closed. In Masaka, shops are also reported closed after the violence broke out.
* Human rights organization has accused the police of using excessive force on the demonstrators.
* Public transport comes to a halt.

it was bad. things seem to be returning to normal but a silently government crackdown on journalists and the media is continuing :-(
