An acid attack as a form of revenge especially most common among lovers. Relationships gones sour, indecent dressing, fighting off a co-wife, cheating husband and often refusing advances from a suitor. In just a month, there are two acid cases already reported, in one case a university student being jailed for seven years.

An acid attack by one of four of the education minister’s wives is threatening the stability of long peaceful polygamous marriage.
